A) Highlights and special Events:
Sh.Pranab Kumar Sen ,Chief Commissioner of Rly Safety addressed the meeting of chairpersons of International Transport Safety Association(ITSA) held in Ottawa , Canada , from 14th to17th May 2007.In his presentation he discussed the importance of checklist in safety certification.
This association comprises of 11 members from different countries ,heading the organizations conducting independent investigations of accidents in transport sectors.
B) TECHNICAL MEETING Of COMMISSIONERS OF RAILWAY SAFETY :
Technical meeting of
Commissioners of Railway Safety including CCRS along with Dy. CsRS was held on
20th and 21st Sept. 2006, at Mumbai. The closing secession was
graced by G.M/Central Railway and Western Railway. There were
5 sessions in the meeting in which various technical issues pertaining to
Railway Safety were deliberately upon. Next meeting will be held in
AYOG SAMACHAR , The Quarterly Newsletter of Commission of Railway Safety of April 2007 released .
